Act Like You Know

Romans 12:verse 12. Rejoice in Hope, Patient in Tribulation, Continuing Steadfast in Prayer.

We all have something that God has done for us in our walk with him be it a bill getting paid and you did not know where the money came from, a family member getting healed from death, disease, or illness. God restoring your Peace, and bringing you out of a pit of depression and suicidal ideations. God has shown his hand of favor and love to us in some way, but now that things are good we are blessed and highly favored. We have forgotten where he brought us from.  Forgetting God's goodness and mercy in our lives is a dangerous thing.  It can lead us to becoming spiritual snobs and pias.  It can be damaging to new christians in Christ who have yet to truly experience the favor of God. These babes in Christ have yet to develop strong faith, and spiritual maturation. It makes their journey even harder when they see all the church members riding out of the church parking lot in their Benz, Lexus, and Denali jeep's as they walk to the bus stop with not even a nod in their direction from the drivers, or an offer to drive them home, or at least to the next bus stop. What is my point? Basically men and women of God we need to act like we know. Act like you know who woke you this morning, act like you know who blessed you with your job, act like you know who gave you your beautiful saved wife or husband, act like you know who made it possible for you to have your beautiful home, and car. Most importantly act like you know who saved you from the pits of hell when the enemy wanted to destroy your mind and sanity, and rob you of your peace, and rob you of your place in Heaven.  There are people in church who are literally dying on the vine. They come to church every sunday feeling just as confused, depressed, and rejected as they did when were in the world.  Why are they dying on the vine? Too many fake, and phony spirits in the house of God, and God is not pleased with it. It is time for us to be transparent. Let someone into your personal space so that they can see the goodness of God not just in your material possessions but in your actions. We quote Romans Chapter 12 verse 9  all the time because it is the perfect definition of love;however, how often do we strive to be the example of God's love on  a daily basis. You never know who is watching you on the streets while your giving the guy in the car next to you the finger for cutting you off. You never know who is watching you while your cussing out the cashier at Walmart for being too slow while ringing up your purchases and then had the audacity to charge you twice for an item. Now your in the Customer Service counter pitching a fit and trying to get the woman fired. God is not pleased with our behavior, and you are giving him a bad name. Show a little love to your fellow Christian, and Non-Christian. Smile, ask them how thier days is going. Try tipping the waiter at the restaurant for goodness sake. Continually have a spirit of brokeness and love, so that when others see you they see God.  If you need help with your temper, your arrogance, or your nasty pias attitude then it is time you asked God for deliverance and mean it this time. Act like you know better by doing better because you truly have no excuse
