If I Let Go

Romans 12:verse 12. Rejoice in Hope, Patient in Tribulation, Continuing Steadfast in Prayer.
If I let go would you be there for me.  If I let go will you give me internal peace. If I let go will I learn to smile again. Lord I wanna know if I let go?  All this heartache is making me feel like a weight is on my head. Many sleepless nights, tossing and turning in my bed. I cannot do this all alone, I need your help to carry on.  If I let go.
If I let go, would you be there for me? If I let go would you give me eternal peace? If I let go would you heal all my hurt and pain? If I let go will I learn to be happy again? Lord, I need to know, If I let go?

Be Patient and Have Faith

Romans 12:verse 12. Rejoice in Hope, Patient in Tribulation, Continuing Steadfast in Prayer.,

What in the world is going on? It seems like all of Hell has broke loose in my life. My car is having some kind of mental breakdown mechanically. With all of the education and experience I have I can't even pay someone to give me a full time job. I'm in a financial hold,on a fixed income, and forced to depend on others for food, housing and money.  As a woman who has been on her own and living outside of her parents home since her 20's its humbling for me to have to return and be in the position that I am in.  If I did not know God, I would have allowed what I am experiencing to destroy me mentally an spiritually.  However, I have faith that what God has for me is greater than my current situation, an if I keep my eyes on Him he will bless me abundantly.  Over 20years of salvation and walking with God has shown me that when the storms of life are raging that God is about to show up.  In the book of Hebrews Paul gives us numerous examples of how having faith in times of turmoil helps keep the man an woman of God focused.  When you experience setbacks in life you have to have faith. Continue to walk as a servant of the Lord, and allow God to work things out.  Therefore, when people say to me,"girl you need to be depressed, upset, an acting crazy right about now".  I let them know that when the Enemy of God starts messing, I am next in line for a Blessing.  Or as my best friend Marcus said to me,"Spirit sometimes God has to remove everything we have, so that He can build us back up". Consequently, as I endure my current lesson in fatih, my lesson in submission, my lesson in learning to lean and depend on others, I now know that I dont have to always do things by myself.  I rejoice in the fact that God thinks I am worthy enough to endure this trial an be a living witness to others that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Therefore, when it seems that all Hell has broke loose in my life. I will flex my intercession muscles an go to God in prayer. I have faith tht He will deliver me in due season. He has done it before and He will do it again.

Act Like You Know

Romans 12:verse 12. Rejoice in Hope, Patient in Tribulation, Continuing Steadfast in Prayer.

We all have something that God has done for us in our walk with him be it a bill getting paid and you did not know where the money came from, a family member getting healed from death, disease, or illness. God restoring your Peace, and bringing you out of a pit of depression and suicidal ideations. God has shown his hand of favor and love to us in some way, but now that things are good we are blessed and highly favored. We have forgotten where he brought us from.  Forgetting God's goodness and mercy in our lives is a dangerous thing.  It can lead us to becoming spiritual snobs and pias.  It can be damaging to new christians in Christ who have yet to truly experience the favor of God. These babes in Christ have yet to develop strong faith, and spiritual maturation. It makes their journey even harder when they see all the church members riding out of the church parking lot in their Benz, Lexus, and Denali jeep's as they walk to the bus stop with not even a nod in their direction from the drivers, or an offer to drive them home, or at least to the next bus stop. What is my point? Basically men and women of God we need to act like we know. Act like you know who woke you this morning, act like you know who blessed you with your job, act like you know who gave you your beautiful saved wife or husband, act like you know who made it possible for you to have your beautiful home, and car. Most importantly act like you know who saved you from the pits of hell when the enemy wanted to destroy your mind and sanity, and rob you of your peace, and rob you of your place in Heaven.  There are people in church who are literally dying on the vine. They come to church every sunday feeling just as confused, depressed, and rejected as they did when were in the world.  Why are they dying on the vine? Too many fake, and phony spirits in the house of God, and God is not pleased with it. It is time for us to be transparent. Let someone into your personal space so that they can see the goodness of God not just in your material possessions but in your actions. We quote Romans Chapter 12 verse 9  all the time because it is the perfect definition of love;however, how often do we strive to be the example of God's love on  a daily basis. You never know who is watching you on the streets while your giving the guy in the car next to you the finger for cutting you off. You never know who is watching you while your cussing out the cashier at Walmart for being too slow while ringing up your purchases and then had the audacity to charge you twice for an item. Now your in the Customer Service counter pitching a fit and trying to get the woman fired. God is not pleased with our behavior, and you are giving him a bad name. Show a little love to your fellow Christian, and Non-Christian. Smile, ask them how thier days is going. Try tipping the waiter at the restaurant for goodness sake. Continually have a spirit of brokeness and love, so that when others see you they see God.  If you need help with your temper, your arrogance, or your nasty pias attitude then it is time you asked God for deliverance and mean it this time. Act like you know better by doing better because you truly have no excuse

Rejoice in Hope, Patient in Tribulation, Continuing Steadfast in Prayer.

Planted on Holy Ground. This scripture came to me recently as I stand in the midst of a financial, professional, and emotional storm.  I hold on to the faith and belief that God is in control and He has the last word. It would be very easy for me to have a pity party, blame others,as well as blame God for my circumstances. However my faith and my past experiences tell me that this is just another storm. As a child, and even now as an adult I would love to listen to the rain, and let it rock me to sleep like a baby. While my mom was running around the house turning off all sources of electricity such as the lights and television. She would have us sit in silence as the rain storm erupted outside and beat against our doors, and windows.  The storm frightened my siblings but as for me it calmed me. As an adult I learned that in th time of storms is when God's will is truly able to manifest. We have to stand still like that tree in Psalms 1, planted by the raging waters and in the midst of a horrible storm.  Let God do what He does best. He has to shake things up so that we do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly nor sit in the seat of the scornful. The ways of the world and the circumstances of life cannot dictate how we react. This is our opportunity as men and women of God to meditate on God's word, and rejoice, fast, pray, and allow God to rain on the enemies plans of destruction. Satan will flee in our times of despair if we learn to rejoice in our storms. I know that when it is a storm raging their is a blessing on the other side.  God is maturing me, and preparing me for the next level. He is teaching me how to be calm even when it looks like all Hell has broke loose in my life.  Some may look at me and say your not worried, your not mad, your not scared? My answer is No, because in the end I know that God is in control of my life, and if I trust and depend on Him, and stay in His will, follow His lead, and continue to pray and seek His guidance He will get me over this storm just as He has got me over all the other storms.  I've lost both my father and stepfather, God got me over, I lost my son's father to a tragic house fire, and had to depend on God to help me raise him into the saved, God fearing, intelligent young man he is today. God got me over. I had to get a tumor removed from the lower half of my pancreas, and my spleen removed. God got me over. I developed blood clots in both my lungs post surgery and almost lost my life. God healed me and got me over. I was talked about, lied on, and hated by others because of envy and jealousy. God got me over, and made my enemies my footstool. I say all of this to let you know that like all storms this too shall pass. So if you have a storm in your life know that God will get you over. If you stand on His word and have faith in His promises. Know that you are blessed, anointed, and that like the tree in Psalms Chapte 1, you are planted on Holy Ground.
Peace and God's Blessings
